SeatGeek Hires Greg Warden, Former Chainalysis Executive, as New VP of Engineering
SeatGeek today announced that Greg Warden has joined the company as its vice president of engineering. Warden joins SeatGeek from Chainalysis, the top crypto and blockchain technology analysis company, where he was VP of Engineering. Warden will lead SeatGeek’s enterprise engineering teams as they continue to develop new technology to transform what a ticket can be. Warden comes to SeatGeek with a vision of turning the box office into a highly functional software as a service function for rights holders, artists, teams, and venues.
“We brought Greg on because of his experience and expertise disrupting old enterprise software,” said Brian Murphy, CTO SeatGeek. “Greg will help us on our mission to push the old ways of ticketing into the 21st century as live events ramp up again.”
Greg holds both Masters and Bachelors degrees in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Although Greg lives in New Jersey, he is a die-hard supporter of all the Boston sports teams. He counts himself lucky to have been in New Orleans for the Patriots first Super Bowl victory in 2001, and at Fenway Park for game 4 of the ALCS in 2004.
